Americanization E-portfolio Assignment

This assignment  was a great way to reflect on all of the challenges ethnic groups in America faced. I really had to explore all of the different aspects of the immigrant groups that we have learned about in this class. I found it difficult to narrow it down to which group had the hardest time being accepted. I decided to write my paper on African Americans and the difficulties they faced in America. America has a long history of discriminating against immigrants but all of America's cultures and ethnic groups are what makes up America's society.I also found it difficult to take all of the knowledge I have learned so far and compile it into an essay. It was a great way to really process the information and  think about the best way to write it effectively.
